Your Lactation Counselor
& Infant Feeding Specialist
Tina is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist and Certified Lactation Counselor. She received her Bachelor's from Louisiana State University and her Master's in Communication Disorders from the University of Houston. Tina is a Houston native and has worked in a variety of pediatric settings in the Houston area. She has 15 years of clinical experience and specializes in feeding therapy including infant feeding, sensory feeding, oral motor issues, breastfeeding and more. She has taken many feeding courses over the years and addresses feeding disorders with a multifaceted approach. Tina has served as a feeding mentor to therapists who are new to this type of therapy and has really enjoyed the education component of being an SLP. When she's not working, she's either with her husband Juan, her family, friends or reading a good book cuddled up next to her two Boston terriers, Dane and Finn.

I felt very confident going into my birth with the hopes of breastfeeding and I think that showed with the lactation nurses, as they all complimented me on my comfort with breast feeding.
