Your Language and Literacy Specialist

Sophie is a certified member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and licensed by the state of Texas. She earned her B.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders from The University of Texas at Austin, and her M.A. in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Houston. Sophie has previous experience working with children in public and private schools, and adults in acute care. Her clinical interests include early childhood language and literacy development, including treatment of dyslexia. Sophie is trained in the Natural Language Acquisition framework to support gestalt language processors. Sophie is passionate about collaborating with families to provide child-centered interventions that support social-emotional learning and literacy development. In her spare time, Sophie enjoys reading and playing tennis.
