Holly grew up with a sister with Prader-Willi syndrome, which kickstarted her passion for speech-language pathology. She earned her undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Houston. GO COOGS! She discovered her passion for orofacial myofunctional therapy after learning that her own ailments were the result of undiagnosed tongue, lip, and cheek ties, which she resolved in adulthood, and she watched as her medical issues were solved. Frustrated by the lack of discovery and education surrounding myofunctional disorders, Holly has been pursuing higher knowledge and seeking to educate and collaborate with other professionals and parents about the importance of airway, feeding, and oral motor skills in children's development. Some of Holly's most powerful moments have come from helping a child find their voice, especially with AAC and gestalt language therapy. She loves collaborating with families to discover how best to communicate with their child, even if it looks different than they expected.

In her spare time, Holly enjoys volleyball, nerdy games, and hanging out with her husband and bunnies.
